Clad windows are windows with a wood frame that have an exterior cover such as fiberglass vinyl or aluminum.
An advantage over standard vinyl is that the andersen 100 series windows are produced in darker colors than the colors found in solid vinyl windows. 400 series windows are vinyl clad windows. My contractor was the best and my windows were very professionally done. Andersen offers many color hardware glass glazing and accessory options though not quite as many as pella.
